2026 Carnegie Community Engagement Classification: 果酱视频 Application Highlights
The University of Texas at El Paso (果酱视频) submitted its application for the 2026 Carnegie Community Engagement Classification in April 2025. The application was led by the Center for Community Engagement (CCE) in collaboration with 果酱视频 faculty, staff, students, and community partners.
This national classification recognizes institutions that demonstrate a sustained commitment to reciprocal, impactful community engagement across teaching, research, and partnerships.
果酱视频 has held this designation since 2010 and was reclassified in 2020 . The 2026 application reflects our university’s continued leadership in building strong, collaborative relationships with our community to advance educational equity, promote health and well-being, foster economic development, and strengthen civic life across the Paso del Norte region.
We will be notified of our classification status in January 2026 .
About the Carnegie Community Engagement Classification
The Carnegie Community Engagement Classification is an elective designation awarded by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching to higher education institutions that demonstrate institutionalized practices of community engagement.
The classification recognizes campuses that are aligned with their communities through teaching and learning, research and scholarship, and reciprocal partnerships that contribute to the public good.
